
Ogun NUJ Congratulates This Day’s Correspondent James Sowole On Appointment as NUJ National Officer
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council, has extended its congratulations to Comrade James Sowole the Ogun State Correspondent of “This Day” on his recent appointment and inauguration as a National Ex-Officio and constitutional member of the Central Working Committee (CWC) during the National Executive Council meeting held in Kano State.
Comrade James Sowole, a distinguished journalist with “This Day” newspaper and a dedicated unionist, has previously served as both Chairman and Secretary of the Ondo State Council of NUJ.
His commitment to the union and the profession has made him a respected figure within the Ogun State Council and beyond.
In addition to that, the union also acknowledged the inauguration of Mr. Seye Ojo from Zone B as a trustee of the Union, which further enhances the representation of our zone at the national level.
The NUJ described Mr. Sowole’s appointment as a testament to his competence, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to union service.
They also expressed confidence that he would leverage his extensive experience to champion the interests of all members across the country.
