NSCDC Commandant Dies Shortly After Speech at Event

The Edo State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Agun Gbenga, is reported to have slumped and died at a function in Benin City.
The commandant slumped shortly after delivering his goodwill message at an event organised by the International Association of World Peace Advocates (IAWPA), held in Benin.
Gbenga was rushed to the Military Base Hospital, Benin, but was certified dead before his arrival.
