CraddleNG Empowers Over 100 Pupils With Back-to-School Essentials

The Craddle STEAM Education Trust (CraddleNG) led by its founder, Miss Aanu Bajela, has distributed school bags, books, and other essential learning materials to over 100 pupils across public primary schools in Ogun State.
This marks the third edition of the initiative since its establishment in 2023, which aims to ease the burden on parents who cannot afford basic school materials for their children.
The event held at Simeon Adebo Library, Kuto area of Abeokuta, with Pupils from UAMC Primary School, Kobiti All Saints Primary School, Nawarudeen Nursery and Primary School, and Community Model School benefited from the program.
Miss Bajela expressed gratitude to the Ogun State Government for granting approval and support.
She called for further collaboration to scale up the project and reach more communities.
Miss Bajela explained that the inspiration behind the Craddle Initiative was to bridge the gap for children among the less privileged, providing them with learning tools that will not only motivate them to stay in school but also boost their confidence among peers.
According to her, “a strong partnership will help scale up the project and reach more communities across the state. Many described the effort as “a timely intervention” that has restored hope to struggling households ”
“Since its launch, the CCradleInitiative has consistently grown in scope and impact, setting itself apart as a grassroots empowerment movement dedicated to education”.
“With the successful execution of its third edition, the Cradle Initiative continues to inspire, empower and remind society that collective responsibility can change the lives of children, one school at a time” she said.
Parents and teachers praised the initiative, noting that it has reduced financial pressure on families and improved pupils’ academic performance.
