Ogun Central Unites for Peace, As  Stakeholders Rally Against Cult Killings

Abeokuta, Ogun State – To promote peace and security in Ogun Central, the Peace Initiative Committee has partnered with key stakeholders to tackle the menace of cult-related killings and foster unity among residents.

The committee, led by Chairman Comrade Abioro Akeem Anthony, recently met with top security officials, including the Chief Security Officer, Governor’s Security Adviser, Director of the Department of State Services, and Commissioner of Police, CP Lanre Ogunlowo, who sought to end cult killing and other violence.

These efforts aim to enhance security measures, promote peaceful coexistence curb cult-related violence in the state.

The Peace Initiative also plans to engage with students from tertiary institutions, okada riders, and artisans to ensure a collective approach to peacebuilding.

The committee hopes to create a safer and more harmonious environment for all residents in Ogun Central.
