
Senator Daniel to Present Stewardship at NUJ’s ‘Dialogue with Journalists’
Former Ogun State Governor and current Senator representing Ogun East, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, will present his stewardship report at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Ogun State Council’s program, “Dialogue with Journalists”.
The event, held between June 24th and 29th at the Iwe Iroyin Press Center, Abeokuta, aims to hold public office holders accountable and provide a platform for National Assembly members to report their progress to their constituents.
Senator Daniel, also known as OGD, will present his account on Tuesday, June 25th at 10 am. As a former governor and successful entrepreneur, he is expected to share his achievements and plans for the future.
The event promises to be a meaningful platform for a better democracy, where National Assembly members are held accountable for their responsibilities.
OGD, as he is fondly called, previously served as governor of Ogun State from 2003 to 2011.
He is the owner of Kresta Laurel, an Electro-mechanical engineering company, he started in 1990.
He is also the founder of Conference Hotels with branches in Ijebu-Ode, Sagamu, Abeokuta, and Isheri, part of Lagos.
