In a groundbreaking initiative, Prestige Newspaper, a pioneering community news outlet in Abeokuta and Ogun State, is proud to announce the upcoming launch of its ‘Ogun State 50 Top Role Models’ book project.
This prestigious publication, the third in the series, celebrates the achievements of 50 remarkable Nigerians who have made significant contributions to the state’s development.
Publisher and CEO, Mr. Dada Olanipekun, revealed that the book honors individuals from various fields, including technocrats, administrators, politicians, and paramilitary personnel, who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication to the state’s progress.
While not all honorees are indigenes of Ogun State, their impact on the state’s growth and development has earned them a place in this esteemed publication. The selection process was rigorous, ensuring that only those with outstanding contributions were chosen.
The unveiling ceremony, scheduled for July 31, 2024, at the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Oke Ilewo, Abeokuta, promises to be a momentous occasion.
Ambassador Sarafa Tunji Isola, former High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, will deliver the keynote address, while Ogun State Head of Service, Pastor Kehinde Onasanya, will be the special guest of honor.
Eminent surveyor and former president of the Nigerian Institution of Surveyors, Elder Bode Adeaga, will chair the event.
This inspiring book project serves as a testament to the power of leadership and community service, providing a lasting legacy for generations to come.
