
Pelican Valley CEO Is Synergy’s ‘Man of The Year 2023
…Dedicates Award To Governor Abiodun, Aremo Osoba
Proficient real estate practitioner, Dr Babatunde Adeyemo, has been named the Synergy’s ‘Man of the Year 2023,’ a prestigious award bestowed on him by Synergy Interlinks Network to crown the over 60 different awards he had honourably garnered this year alone from distinguished organisations, professional bodies, groups, youths and individuals.
The colourful presentation of the Award to Dr Adeyemo at a ceremony that took place at the Marque within the sprawling Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, attracted dignitaries from far and near.
The Realtor who is the CEO of Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, a foremost Nigerian real estate firm behind the Pelican Valley Estate Laderin, Abeokuta; Pelican Brief Estate; Pelican’s Ecostay Apartments and Pelican Green Acres Farm Estate – located at Kobape corridor of Ogun State, is also a philanthropist and founder, Oko Opo Foundation, the vehicle through which he caters to the widows, children and other vulnerable members of the society.
Explaining the rationale behind the honour, Mr Kazeem Adewale, the founder of Synergy Interlinks Network, said the Meritorious Man of the Year Award given to the young philanthropist and real estate developer, is meant to celebrate his remarkable achievements in the areas of philanthropy, integrity and due diligence in real estate practice, jobs creation and helping to bridge the nation’s widening housing deficit.

Responding, Dr Babatunde Adeyemo who is also an ECOWAS Youth Council Ambassador as well as Anti – Corruption Ambassador, said the award is one of the greatest ways to wrap up the ever demanding and eventful 2023.
The awardee said he’s delighted to dedicate the award to the Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun for creating a conducive environment for businesses to operate safely and thrive in Ogun State, and also, the former Governor of Ogun State, Aremo Olusegun Osoba for his rural electrification projects during his years in Office, which paved way for the location of the Pelican-Brief Estate project at Kobape axis of the State.
He used the opportunity to renew hope in Nigerian youths amid the seemingly hopeless situation in the country, urging them not to despair, assuring that if he could succeed in Nigeria as a real estate practitioner, breaking into the international property markets without stepping out of the shore of the country, and without any court disputes or police case, it also means that an average Nigerian youth will equally thrive in any worthy venture without cutting corners.
The Ogun real Estate poster boy, however, used the medium to congratulate all his estates’ existing customers, noting that the company will soon halt sales of lands to concentrate on luxury housing development and sales of same on its Estates.

Similarly and deservedly, the Encounter News, an online news platform, clinched the Media Brand of the Year Award while the Splash FM bagged the Brand Station of the Year.
Also honoured are Seun Raymond (Investigative Journalist of the Year Award), Miss Gift Barry-Oba, Saheed Adeola (a journalist with the Fresh FM, Abeokuta)
Prof. Shittu Bolaji Ashami, the Vice Chancellor of Republic of Benin based university smiled home with the Synergy’s Meritorious Diaspora VC of the Year.
Commenting, the Publisher and Editor – In – Chief of the Encounter News, Mr. Michael Ogunsiji, who received his trophy presented to him by the Pelican Valley CEO, Dr Adeyemo on behalf of Synergy, commended the organisation for finding the news medium “worthy” of the honour.
