The Chief Executive Officer of Pelican Valley, a foremost real estate in Ogun state has felicitated with retired General Manager of Nigeria Television Authority NTA Mrs. Funmi Wakama on her installation as Fiwagboye of Owu Kingdom as she bows out in journalism.
Wakama was conferred the Fiwagboye of the Kingdom following her retirement as General Manager of the television station on Saturday, by the Olowu of Owu Kingdom Oba Saka Matemilola at his Palace in Abeokuta, the state capital.
Speaking with newsmen at the event, Dr. Adeyemo described the newly conferred Fiwagboye of Owu kingdom as a true friend, mother, and sister, while expressing his belief that she embodies the qualities of an “Iya Laje” in addition to her newly-conferred chieftaincy title “Fiwagboye.”
