Olowu Urges Peaceful Coexistence Among Egbas, Aworis in Sango

The Olowu of Owu-Abeokuta, Oba (Prof.) Saka Adelola Matemilola has emphasized the need for peaceful coexistence among the Egbas and Aworis living in Sango, Ado-Odo/Otta Local Government Area of Ogun State.
He made this call when elders from Sango presented Prince Olusanjo Olurebi as their choice for the vacant stool of Onisango of Sango.
Oba Matemilola stressed that he would continue to work with Olota of Ota, Oba (Prof.) Kabir Obalenge, to sustain peaceful coexistence in the area.
He noted that some individuals are fueling trouble for selfish interests, but assured that they would be handled through peaceful means.
The monarch also urged Prince Olurebi to see leadership as a huge task requiring wisdom from God, a big purse, and influence.
He promised to work closely with Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, to sort out issues regarding the vacant stool.
Prince Olurebi expressed his admiration for the Olowu’s humility, accessibility, and straightforwardness, promising to remain close to the monarch if he ascends to the throne.
