Ogun to go ruthless against cultism, kidnapping others – CP Olarewaju

The new Commissioner of Police Ogun State Command, CP Olarewaju Oladimeji has said that he would take ruthless action on cultism, kidnapping, incessant killing and other related crimes in the state.

Olarewaju made this known on Thursday while addressing the newsmen at the Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta the state capital.

He cautioned all hoodlums in the State to denounce or leave the state with immediate alacrity, noting that he is ready to work together with other security agencies to put an end to crime or brought it to the barest minimum.

Olarenwaju noted that the command would do all its possible best to chase cultists out of the state and whoever ever apprehended will face the wrath of the law.

“We plan to make sure that all law-abiding citizens in the Ogun state are sleeping well. If you are law-abiding, you have no problem. But if you are not law-abiding and you are a criminal, this is time for you to relocate because if you don’t relocate, you will not like what will happen to you”.

“We will make sure that those who are law-abiding will enjoy their stay in Ogun state. I can assure you that, we are going to synergize with sister agencies to make sure we achieve our goals”.

“We will make sure that Ogun state is not turning into a cultist state. All cultists who are in Ogun state please start relocating because all the extant laws of cultism that deal with cultism that will make them know that what we are doing is fine. We are going to make sure we bring it and we are going to persecute anyone caught for cultism”.
