Ogun PCRC Honours Frank Mba, CP Bankole, CP Oladimeji, and Oyeyemi For Diligent Service

As part of encouragement for diligent service delivery and contribution to the security matters in Ogun, the Nigeria Police Force Police Community Relations Committee Ogun state chapter PCRC has honored CP Oladimeji, two former Commissioners of Police CP Lanre Bankole, AIG Frank Mba, and former PPRO Abimbola Oyeyemi for diligent service during their stay in Ogun.

The grand reception in honour of the immediate past two commissioners of Police, Ogun state command, was held at Laroy Suit, in Abeokuta the state capital on Friday, where dignitaries across the state were present.

The Chairman of PCRC in Ogun state Com. Kunle Samson Popoola also known as KSP in his welcome address noted the lack of appreciation is one of the major challenges that is affecting the growth of Nigeria, urging that Nigerians should have a change of attitude on the appreciation.

He added that when a leader serves very well, it is pertinent that people would also be there to appreciate them for their diligent service which would encourage other leaders to do more.

Popoola said, “Apart from discipline and corruption in Nigeria, we also lack appreciation, we don’t appreciate our leaders and those that are working day and night, I think we have a change and attitudes that our leaders must be appreciated”.

When are doing something good there will always be people out there to appreciate and celebrate you, that is what PCRC is doing here today. We are also setting a template so that other officers coming would see this as a challenge to do very well in their duties”.

The former CP, Lanre Bankole encourages men of police to always be diligent in their work, adding that the truth remains that people are watching.

He also disclosed that he was surprised by the honor bestowed on him by PCRC Ogun State describing it as icing on the cake. He added that Ogun PCRC remains the best in the country because of their support to ensure success in terms of security.

He said ” Ogun PCRC remains the best so far, because of their support when it comes to security issues, they have always been a pillar of support even though when I was serving as CP here and they are part of the success story.

“I feel happy to be here, knowing fully that somebody somewhere is taken cognizance of what we give while in Ogun state and deemed it fit to show appreciation, I still hold on to it that human resources have been our best supporters that we have the best security service delivery in Ogun state, and I’m happy PCRC as always been there”.

In the same development, former PPRO Abimbola Oyeyemi also appreciated the Ogun state PCRC for the honor, he admonished them to also join hands with his successor in the state so she can be successful as well.

He also called the general public to always give helpful information to the police adding that security is for everybody and not just for men of the police alone.
