
Ogun NUJ Commends Gov. Abidoun on Toyin Taiwo’s Elevation As Chief of Staff
The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun State Council, has commended the elevation of Dr. Toyin Taiwo by Governor Dapo Abiodun from the Deputy Chief of Staff to the substantive Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ogun State.
Emphasizing that the appointment reflects his dedication and commitment to public service, and also underscores the trust placed in him by the Governor and the people of Ogun State.
The union described Dr. Taiwo’s appointment as a testament to his exceptional leadership qualities, administrative expertise, and stalwart commitment to the welfare of our citizens during his tenure as Deputy Chief of Staff.
“Your ability to navigate challenges and readiness to engage with the community have earned you respect and admiration from various sectors, including government, civil society, and the media.
“We have, no doubt, witnessed unwavering loyalty and strategic support to the Governor in implementing government’s policies that directly benefit the people and also conscientiously overseeing the implementation of key projects and initiatives that enhance the development of our dear State”.
“As you steps into this new role, we encourage you to continue harnessing your skills and passion for service because the people of the State have placed their hopes in your leadership to drive initiatives that promote good governance, transparency, and accountability”
The NUJ is optimistic that Dr. Taiwo will continue to guide the Governor’s office with competence, serve as a bridge between the government and the citizens, and as well work tirelessly to maintain and build upon the achievements of his predecessors, ensuring that their voices are heard and their concerns addressed.
