Ogun IPAC Shines at UN Campaign on Women’s In Politics

The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Ogun State chapter led by Comrade Abayomi Sanyaolu has wooed the United Nations for the women’s political empowerment project in Ogun state.

The project aimed to engage leaders who are making tangible commitments toward accelerating gender equality held in Ekiti with the presence of IPAC Chairmen across southwest west Nigeria.

The project Known as a global movement, HeForShe partners with leaders who champion and generate a proven solution based on their commitment.

The project also provides impactful resources to supporters all over the globe who are doing their part for a more equal world.

On his part in the project, Sanyaolu explained the Ogun State chapter has been inclusive in political roles, with women in politics holding critical positions in Ogun State.

Sanyaolu noted that Ogun IPAC keyed in the HeForShe is UN Women’s solidarity movement for gender equality, adding that the state is changing the traditional gender equality narrative to be more inclusive while recognizing that gender equality is a benefit to all.
