Ogun IPAC Lauds Gov. Abidoun’s N200million Support For Borno Flood Disaster
The Ogun State Government Inter-Party Advisory Council has commended Gov. Abiodun’s kind gesture toward the donation of N200 million to the Borno State Government, describing it gesture as answerable democracy.
The commendation was given in a statement by the IPAC chairman Hon. Abayomi Sanyaolu on Saturday following the devastating flood that recently ravaged the state, destroying property and displacing thousands of residents.
Sanyaolu also commended the prompt interventions from the federal government.
A report has it that 414,000 people have been displaced, and 30 lives lost in the devastating flood in Maiduguri, the Borno State capital.
According to him” I want to commend the kind gesture of our dear governor in support of the Bornu Government.
“The gesture came at a critical time of need for the state, especially for those who have been displaced in the cause of flood disaster”.
“On behalf of the IPAC in Ogun which represents all political parties in Ogun, we commend your responsiveness toward a good democracy”.
