Ogun IPAC Gets New Chairman, As Sanyaolu Defeats Okusanya

In a momentous event, The Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC Ogun State has elected Hon. Abayomi Sanyaolu new chairman of the state, and other executives.

Abayomi Sanyaolu defeated the incumbent chairman, Mr. Okusanya Samson with 10 votes to 7 votes, in a successful election today, tasking the elected officers to jointly direct the affairs of the council for betterment.

Sanyaolu who was sworn in alongside other elected officers further expressed gratitude to the executive Governor of Ogun state H.E Prince Dapo Abiodun for the enabling environment given to politics in the state.

The chairman in his opening remarks stated that this is a NEW DAWN in Ogun state and promised to work together with all political parties in the State.

He appreciated the National Officers of IPAC who conducted the exercise for a successful election, and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for providing a conducive venue and being an impartial umpire.

The elected executive members are :
IPAC Chairman Sanyaolu Abayomi, Action Alliance (AA) Deputy Chairman Jagun Lukman, Labour Party (LP)Secretary, Amb. Yeye Olufunke Olanrewaju, Action Democratic Party (ADP) Deputy Secretary, Dr. Yinka Williams, Social Democratic Party (SDP) Treasurer, Mr. Afolabi Adeshina, African Action Congress (AAC) Financial Secretary, Mr. Patrick Oyatayo, Allied People’s Movement (APM)Organising Secretary, Mr Biola Martins, Action People’s Party (APP). Legal Advisor, Mr. Boye Ijaduoye, Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) Publicity Secretary, Mr ITUNU ABIORO, African Democratic Congress (ADC).
