Ogun IPAC Chairman Sanyaolu Bags Fight Against Corruption Organisation Leadership Award

The Ogun chairman of the Inter-party Advisory Council, Comrade Abayomi Sanyaolu, has been decorated with the Meritorious Leadership Award by the Fight Against Corruption Organization (FACO). 

The presentation of the award was motivated by the organisation based on a thorough assessment of Comrade Sanyaolu and his meritorious service to humanity politically and socially.

Speaking at the presentation of the Award, Mr. Francis Shopekan, the Chairman, stated that the award was given based on the political merit of Sanyaolu and his developmental project facilitated by him.

He disclosed that the award has been given to high-profile personalities in the country, which include Festus Keyamo, Jimi Agbaja and others.

Shopekan also noted that the first recipients of the award in the current administration are Adegboyega Oyetola, current mister of defence, Nuru Ribadu, and other high-profile persons.

He congratulated Abayomi Sanyaolu for being found worthy of the award, urging him to join forces with others to remove Nigeria’s name from the list of corrupt countries in the world.

In his acceptance speech, Sanyaolu declared that he would continue to uphold good deeds and integrity known for.

He also assured me that receiving the award is a motivation and call for him to perform better than he has always done.

He revealed that his father had taught him a great lesson that integrity and consistency win the race, pledging to join forces with others to remove Nigeria from the corruption list in the world.

“I assure you that this award is a call to service and to do more good deeds expected of me. I’m aware that Nigeria is still battling with corruption, and with my presence in the league of awardees of the Fight against Corruption organisation.

 

“My father had taught me a good lesson to remain upright, accountable and transparent in anything I’m doing. I will not hesitate to be part of good ambassadors of Nigeria, IPAC, and my political affiliation within and outside the country”.

Present at the award ceremony were all political parties in the state.
