Ogun Govt, BARODS Global Partners on Real  Estate Matters

A leading real estate construction and property agency in Nigeria BARODS Global Limited has been partnered by the Ogun State government for the selling of President Muhamadu Buhari’s Estate in Ogun state.

BARODS and other real estate developers in Ogun state were led to President Muhamadu Buhari Estate by the Hon. Jamiu Jagunmolu the Commissioner for Housing today to show the project and facilities available for the potential buyers.

The estate sitting on over 500 Hectares of land along Abeokuta Lagos Express Road, and the first cluster with about 50 hectares was ready to be sold to a potential buyer, thereby describing it as the new megacity of Ogun.

Speaking at the event, the CEO of BARODS Global Limited Mr. Babatunde Denton expressed optimism about the estate, stating that with the strategic location, location, the estate is positioned to further bring development in the area and attract investors.

He described the project as a diamond in the rough, noting that it is a legal project that buyers should key into the project early to have themselves sitting on prime investment.

Denton emphasized there are a lot of clients who will want to buy the estate because it is an estate within the estate because it is nicely located.

“The view here is great. I have a lot of clients that are looking for something like this that has a view. Shortly, it might be more expensive than the most expensive square meters in Ogun state.

Also, the speaking the Hon. Commissioner for Housing disclosed that it has engaged no fewer than 50,000 artisans in the housing sector through direct labor within five years.

Jagunmolu noted that the government has also constructed over 4,000 homes across the three Senatorial Districts in the state over the years.

He affirmed that the government has completed 115 duplexes within the estate and has available plots of land for sale to individuals who want to build their homes.

Jagunmolu said, “We have done all these by direct labor, we have engaged nothing less than 50,000 direct labor artisans within the housing sector and we have turned several unknown villages into smart cities”.

“The estate which was left behind by the previous administration, has been transformed into a thriving city by the Dapo Abiodun Administration”.

“We will offer these houses at a range of about N150 to N160 million looking at the quality of structures that we have. Looking at the infrastructures that we have, I have to tell the public that the houses are truly subsidized by the state government, he stressed”.
