May Day: Ogun IPAC Chairman, Sanyaolu Urges FG to Improve On Workers’ Welfare

The Inter-party Advisory Council Chairman, Ogun State Chapter, Comr. Abayomi Sanyaolu has felicitated with workers of Nigeria and Ogun state, calling on the Federal and state governments to improve the welfare of workers.
Sanyaolu (CSA) in his Workers’ Day message described workers in the country as the engine room of any government, noting that they deserve good welfare just like people in government.
He posited that good care of workers will enable rapid development of the country hence, giving value to the economy.
Sanyaolu said “The government must first think of the workers, improve their welfare so they can then contribute their quota adequately to the economy, It should be the people before the economy.
He also emphasized the significant challenges of workers which include low take-home and lack of job security in Nigeria.
“Nigerian workers continued to face significant challenges, including low take-home pay, lack of job security, and others”.
“Workers are the operators of the nation’s economy. Government should think of how to build the operators of the economy”.
