Kidnapping: Tinubu In Closed-door Meeting With Service Chiefs

In a decisive action to end the rampaging kidnapping activities happening across the country, President Bola Tinubu has held a closed-door session with service chiefs at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Tinubu made the move shortly after he departed Transcorp Hilton, from a book launch, meeting the service chiefs led by the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa.
Others in attendance at the meeting include the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogala, Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar, and the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun.
Recalled in recent cases of kidnapping occurred in Abuja whereby father and daughters were kidnapped in Abuja on January 9, 2024.
In the cause of the issues, a post appeared on X, where Nigerians were urged to donate any amount into a designated bank account, to help the victims fight the battle, as the father was directed to raise N60m as ransom for the release of her daughters before Friday, January 12.
Meanwhile, Nigerians are expecting a positive result from the meeting as the hope that the current security challenge situation will be tackled by the President.
