Federal Polytechnic Ilaro Rector, Mukail Akinde Becomes ICAN 6th District Chairman Of Ilaro Society

The Rector of Federal Polytechnic Ilaro Dr. Mikail Akinde has been decorated as the 6th district Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria ICAN Ilaro, assuring inclusiveness in his administration.

The 6th district Chairman who is also the 6th Rector of the Federal Polytechnic Ilaro was decorated at the ASUP hall on Saturday at the school premises where notable people were present to grace the event.

In his acceptance speech, Dr. Akinde expressed confidence in his administration, noting that the Institute of  Accountants of Nigeria Ilaro district under his watch would attain phenomenal development to the admiration of the past and present chairmen and executives of the District.

He also disclosed that his administration would ensure that District would complete the permanent site building which was estimated at over 120,000,000.

Akinde noted that he would apply a catch-them-young approach to enable the youth and children who have an interest in accounting to relate with the professionals on the field and serve as mentors to them all.

“I do not doubt that we can always count on our distinguished members, well-meaning individual, and cooperate bodies to extend your moral and financial support to this dispensation to successfully implement this laudable project”.

“These executives shall organize a catch-them-young program for secondary students aimed at creating awareness about the Institute and also enjoining to choose Chartered as career/path in the accounting profession”.
