The former New Nigeria People’s Party chieftain and grassroots politician in Ogun state, Hon Olujobi Fayoyin has set machinery in motion to return to the party.

A source close to the young politician said since the National Working Committee of the party has decided to sanitize the Ogun state NNPP, Hon Fayoyin had started political alignments with stakeholders and party leaders ahead of the next general election.

Recall, the former state chairman, Comrade Sunday Oginni was expelled by the National leadership of the party over anti-party activities.

Though, Comrade Oginni saw the expulsion as a joke because of a pending suit at the Federal High Court, Abeokuta.

Reacting to Ogini’s explosion Hon. Fayoyin responded to the development in a telephone interview with our correspondent, saying “Since Oginni has been shown his way out, I have no reason to be out of the party.

“I left the party because of his bad leadership, and undemocratic system which is contrary to my political ideology. I believe my return and other progressive minds will bring life to the party, and will set the ball rolling for the next election.”

He also promised to work with all state leadership and flag bearers who contested in the last election for the betterment of the state.
