The founder of the Comprehensive Academy, Hon. Wale Bello, cleared the air over the sudden death of a student Aliah Hamed on Tuesday.

Bello registered displeasure over the ritual rumor and some other speculations being spread by bloggers that the management of the school has used the deceased for ritual.

He stated this during a press conference held at the school premises on Saturday in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

Bello narrated that Aliah had been battling with seizures even before her death, noting the same challenges happened in November, but she regained consciousness through the effort of the school by taking her to the Hospital, even though it was critical then.

He maintained that what happened on Tuesday was not as critical as what happened in November that she survived, adding that he called her parents immediately and they took her to the General Hospital, Ijaye, where she shouted “efimisile ejekinmalo” as narrated by her mother.

He appealed to the general public to turn a deaf ear to speculation of ritual, vowing that he has never engaged in ritual and he would never be part of it in his life, pointed out that Aliah didn’t die in the school but when she got to the hospital.

According to him, “Why do I need to do rituals? when I started school in the last 34 years ago I didn’t do rituals, even though I was driving a cab from Itaoshin to Sango before I resumed school. I didn’t do rituals”

“When I started secondary school, I didn’t do rituals, when I started camping, I didn’t do rituals, so why now that I have everything that I want to do ritual?

“Please, I want the public to know that I will never do such. The family of Hamed Aliah remains part of the school and we are going to immortalize it in the school, except her parent says otherwise”.

He narrated the further it was on Tuesday, that they normally start lectures with students by 7 am. “Suddenly, I saw female students surrounding another female student, what happened was they said Aliah, the Aliah again I used was because I had witnessed it before around November or December. I told a boy to bring her to the rest room of lecture room because we have a restroom in the auditorium, I called her name and she responded then I said thank God, unlike the one that happened in November, I called her parent, being a responsible parent they got here immediately and after some minutes later her father called me that she has stopped breathing, immediately I took my car key, I discovered that it was Lafenwa Market Day”.

” I think before they get to the hospital, they might have encountered the same hold-up. I met her mother outside, I asked her what happened, and she said she was okay before they entered the hospital and she said she shouted “Efimisile kin malo”. Later some Cherubum members came and prayed and later somebody told me she had woken up, and they took her to one hospital in Enuga and later they took her to First Alpha where they confirmed she had given up the ghost”.

“In my 32 years of establishment nothing of such as never happened, in my 20 years of our Secondary school, nothing like this has ever happened even though we have never had a cause of kidnapping”.

“None of our students had ever died while they were still students at Comprehensive Academy. I might not know after they have graduated because it is not our responsibility to follow students after they have graduated. Immediately the DSS called for interrogation. She didn’t die in the school, if she had died in the school she wouldn’t have made such a statement”.

“I want to say that it wasn’t Mum Aliah’s fault, because she always expressed joy whenever she came to school. Some people might have influenced her, maybe bloggers or some people, because she told me that some people came to her house to tell her different stories which led to different speculations”.

“I’m happy we have many great individuals who have passed out from this school, we have many at the government parastatals, while some are successful entrepreneurs”

  1. Sir,They only want to destroy Bello’s Image politically and ruin the school.Hon, Don’t look back continue to train and race good children to develop our society.Pls don’t be disturbed.

  2. Kudos to Mr Bello. I was a student of this great citadel and nothing of such have happened. When I saw the news I knew some people are looking for an opportunity to tarnish the image of the school. I hope with this people will be able to know that all they heard was true.
I wish her Al Janna Firdaus

  3. Thank God the storm is over . May Almighty God continue to protect all the pupils, members of staff and the management Committee.
May we never witness this ugly and unfortunate incident again.
I seize this opportunity to commiserate with Aliah’s family for this irreparable loss. May her gentle soul continue to rest in perfect peace AMEN

  4. Some bloggers are very stupid on spreading unconfirmed rumours that they did not know about just to use any incident as and opportunity for them to build up there bad work, getting those bloggers they were suppose to be punished.

  5. Alhamdulillah Robil alhamin 🙏🏾 Allah has fought the battle already, the storm is over.
Hon. Olawale bello that I know has never and will never indulge in such act .. nothing of such has never happened in the history of compro.
I was once a teacher there for years .he’s also a father figure to everyone of us.

  7. Thank God I’m still a teacher in Comprehensive Children School and I’ve been there for long . I thought in both secondary and primary school nothing of such has never and will never happen. May the good Lord continue to uphold the school in the mighty name.

    1. I’m proud to be a product of Comprehensive Academy. Hon.Wale Bello is a father, friend and teacher. Nothing of such has ever happened and will never happen. When I heard the news I was so confident that it was fake. May God continue to uphold this great citadel in Jesus name..

  8. I will still keep saying it everywhere I go if not for Honorable Wale Bello and my parents , I won’t be who i am or where I am today. This man has really impacted in his students lives. He took all his students like his own children. I will forever be grateful sir and may all children prosper and find mercy wherever they go . Thank you so much sir and by the grace of God neither the school nor your family, name and image would go down ijn

  9. I think emotions got the best part of the mother of the said child which is understandable but going around to tarnish the school image is really bad. My sister and I finished from comprehensive academy and to the glory of God, the school shaped us to what we’ve become today. May the soul of the deceased rest in peace. 🙏

  10. My Proprietor(Father) would never indulge in this type of act!!!! Alumni of the great school & can vow for Mr Bello anywhere!!!! Almighty Allah will fight our battles Insha Allah.

Please dear bloggers, I know you need money, please! make your money wisely and stop destroying peoples progress. Keep the good work going Mr Bello. Almighty God will pay you in Full.

  12. Even though I am new in Compro Academy, with the short period of time spent so far, I can boldly and confidently say that Mr Hello is a good and a man of utmost integrity..He treats his staff so well and loves the students dearly.
