Bishop Alaya Advocates Increment of Salary, Fault FG Palliatives

The pastor of Dominion Bible Church International, Bishop Israel Alaya has appealed to the Federal Government on the need to increase the salary of civil servants, if truly they want to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy, instead of sharing rice with the public.
Alaya argued that an increment of salary would go a long way, and bring down the pressure of economic hardship to the barest minimum.
He stated during a a press conference held in Dominion Bible Church International, headquarters in Abeokuta the state capital, for the commemoration of Dominion World Convention 2023, with the theme”Faith For Victory.
Alaya also stated that Nigeria is a blessed country, but the lack of a good leader is diminishing the prosperity of the country, advising that every home should change their culture and learn how to train their children to become good leaders, wherever they find themselves.
He said, ” I normally tell people that if Nigeria were to be a company of an individual they will manage it well, I have been to America, Europe, and other places, and I see Nigerians doing well extremely. I was in America I saw Nigerians owning a company and employing the Whitemen, working for them, they are doing well”
“Why can’t we do the same here, our culture has to be changed. Alaya said.
He faulted Nigerians for harboring leaders who steal the fortune of the nation for a family, giving them titles in the churches and society, saying that they won’t be good leaders if we continue praising them.
“The real authority shouldn’t be in the hand of the leader, but in the hand of the people who elect them.
“My advice to the federal government is to increase the salary of civil servants if they do, things will flow. Also, we should try to patronize our product, instead of buying foreign things, this will help our forex”.
“I believe that everyone should have a way of contributing to the country, I don’t believe that someone should sit somewhere and blame Tinubu, Governor, I don’t believe that”,
Alaya disclosed that he is planning to start a free master class for leadership training which will be available for everyone individual irrespective of religion, tribe, and ethnicity.
“In my corner, I want to start a free program, in social media, titled Leadership Broadcast, and let people know what leadership is all about.
” You see leadership is just one word, “influence” God can’t do anything without a leader as powerful as God is. In Osea God says prophet I delivered the children of Israel out of Egypt, and by Prophet I established them”.
He also disclosed a plan to launch a book which he said was inspired by God and titled “Divine Direction”
