
Afuape Fetes 1,000 Tertiary Students In Constituency With Palliatives
House of Representative member, representing Abeokuta South Federal constituency Hon. Afolabi Afuape has kick-started a feeding program for 1,000 Tertiary Students in Abeokuta South Federal Constituency.
Distributions of palliative was said to alleviate the challenges faced by tertiary students in Abeokuta, South Federal Constituency, on Wednesday in Abeokuta, the State capital.
The program was spearheaded by his Special Assistant on Students Matters, Ibrahim Adeniran who distributed food items to 300 students as a pilot phase.
Adeniran expressed the commitment of his principal to supporting education and youth empowerment.
He noted that Hon. Afolabi Afuape emphasized the importance of addressing the nutritional needs of students to ensure their academic success.
According to him “Investing in the well-being of our students is crucial for the development of our society,” he remarked.
“We aim to ensure that no student goes hungry while pursuing their academic goals,” he affirmed.
Adeniran highlighted the significance of the feeding program in promoting access to education and enhancing the overall welfare of students.
Temitayo Oladipupo one of the beneficiaries of the program appreciated the support she received while commending the effort of Hon. Afuape’s support to the student populace.
“This initiative has eased the financial burden on me and allowed me to focus more on my studies,”
Feyi Adelekan, expressed gratitude, stating that she was grateful to Afuape’s initiative.
“I am grateful to Hon. Afolabi Afuape for caring about our welfare as students.”
Meanwhile, the feeding program is set to continue, with plans to extend support to an additional 700 students in the coming weeks. Through collaborative efforts and community engagement, Hon. Afolabi Afuape and his team are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students and every constituent in Abeokuta South Federal Constituency.
