Abk South LG: Stakeholder Engagement a Catalyst For Development-Balogun

Hon. Balogun Olaniyi Afeez (BOA), the Executive Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government reaffirmed his commitment to stakeholder engagement, emphasizing its role as a catalyst for development in the local government.

Balogun emphasized this on Monday while receiving executives from the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT) Abeokuta South chapter, and the Christians Association of Nigeria (CAN) at his office.

He acknowledged that successful administration relies on the support of relevant stakeholders, including religious leaders and associations.

Balogun encouraged them to support good governance while assuring them that he would always consult with them whenever necessary.

He also reiterated his commitment to the “Everyone Matters” mantra, ensuring that no one is left behind.

Earlier in his remarks, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) led by Rev’Canon. E. A Opabiyi the Director of Local Issues praised Balogun’s efforts in identifying the needs of council workers and commended his open-door policy administration.

In the same development, the Nigerian Union of Teachers (NUT Abk South) led by Comrade Adejare Zaccheaus also congratulated Balogun on his election victory, appreciating his support during the Teachers Day Celebration.

The meeting spotlighted the importance of building strong relationships between local government officials and teacher unions.

Present at the meeting were the Leader of the House, Hon. Jamiu Ogundairo, and the DG campaign, Prince Niyi Edun, among other stakeholders.
