Abk North LG Poll: Adewusi Intensifies Campaign, As Adebutu Joins Campaign Train

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chairmanship candidate, Hon Adewusi Ambali has intensified the campaign to ensure victory outcome in the forthcoming council election as Hon. Ladi Adebutu joined the campaign train on Monday.
Adewusi led his campaign train to Obada- Idi Emi, Olorunda, Imala, Ijale Papa, and Onisasa villages in the Oke Ogun community.
Receiving Adewusi and his entourage in their palace, the Onijale of Ijale Papa, Oba Micheal Babalola stated that it was only the PDP administration that the rural Area experienced development.
He also acknowledged that the PDP administration believes so much in rural development thereby urging Adewusi to fully implement the party ideology if elected.
Addressing the campaign trail in his palace, the Baale of Idi Emi, Oguntoyinbo Fasasi also pointed out that the only Transformer in the community was donated by Hon. Ladi Adebutu, lamenting that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) failed to deliver on its campaign promises.
Speaking at the campaign in Lafenwa ward 8, the governorship candidate in the 2023 general election and leader of the party in Ogun state, Hon. Ladi Adebutu joined the campaign train to the delight of the electorate.
Hon. Adebutu appealed to the electorate to come out en masse on Saturday to vote for PDP candidates Adewusi and Akinbode as the chairman/deputy chairman of Abeokuta North Local Government.
He also urged them to stand firm with their votes to ensure that their vote counts, noting that electoral law permits that vote must be counted in the presence of voters at the polling booth.
Adebutu emphasised that they must prevent any election robbery mechanism that the ruling party put in place, adding that the only power to end slavery is to vote PDP in local government election and stand firm to defend their votes.
The PDP Abeokuta North party Chairman, Hon. Yusuf Osunrinde presented the chairmanship and councilorship candidates at the campaign to the electorate, urging them to support the PDP candidates at the poll on Saturday.
